Somerset and Dorset s famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast is easily accessible by car and is where you will find the excellent beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The nearby towns of Crewkerne and Chard offer great days out and boast a wide variety of shops interesting buildings and places to eat and drink. Nearby is the fascinating Thorncombe Nature Reserve and Thorncombe Village with a local community run shop church and village hall. Exercise enthusiasts can enjoy an excellent choice of walks which all pass very nearby.
