The seaside resort of Westward Ho! is a 5 minute drive with its sandy beach and adjoining championship golf course. Away from the coast is the rugged beauty of Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks famous for their wildlife hidden valleys and charming villages. There is also Clovelly which is well worth a visit with its steep stepped cobbled streets that lead down to a pretty harbour.
