Barn Cottage benefits from stunning views over Coverdale. The living accommodation is on the first floor with bedrooms tucked away underneath. It is a cosy cottage in the middle of the village but with good views.
"The Forrester's Arms", a community pub, is within walking distance and serves very good food.
The location is ideal for walking either from the door, or in neighbouring Wharfedale and Wensleydale, nearby Malham and Swaledale, as well as touring the Yorkshire Dales National Park with its splendid natural scenery, picturesque villages and market towns, castles and abbeys - all of which are close by. Leyburn, a pleasant market town 4 miles away (market day is Friday), has pubs, restaurants, supermarket, petrol garage etc.
