Surrounded by mountains including Glaramara, Scafell, Great Gable and with Dovenest Crag directly opposite from which it gains its name. Borrowdale is a walkers paradise and is commonly described as Englands most beautiful valley and also home to the Queen of the English Lakes, Derwentwater.
