Located on a quiet cobbled lane very close to Richmond Market Place, Number 8 The Bar is literally built into the ancient medieval gates to the town and is truly unique. Newly converted to an excellent standard, Number 8 is perfect for couples and romantic breaks. Many original features have been retained such as beamed ceilings, and a traditional stone fireplace, and are complemented by clean contemporary twists such as stainless steel work surfaces, bright modern colour palettes and a Nintendo Wii. Traditional timber sash windows throughout offer splendid varied views of Richmond Castle and the town beyond. To the rear is a large outside area, with al-fresco dining facilities and bench seating, as well as pick your own herbs and terrific views over Richmond.
