Rose Cottage is a very sweet and traditional Cotswold cottage located in one of the region's most attractive villages. The property, which is Seventeenth Century and Grade II listed, has a history that describes it as once belonging to the 'Village Alehouse Keeper'! Today it is has a very welcoming feel with many period features including a large and beautiful inglenook fireplace which is simply gorgeous and oak beams - all very romantic! The cottage is well equipped and also enjoys a very large garden overlooking fields beyond. Even though the property is ideal for two people, there is a second bedroom with a potential two extra beds* which would be suitable for one or two children - there is plenty of seating downstairs. A lovely cottage in a lovely village!ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to living room.Living Room, a large room with inglenook fireplace and open fire, two sofas and additional armchair, flatscreen TV and DVD player plus ipod docking station. Plus an extendable dining table with four chairs.Kitchen (not yet photographed) fully equipped with 5 ring gas hob, double oven and grill, fridge and freezer, washing machine/drier. There is a kitchen door leading to the back garden.UpstairsBedroom One with double bed (4ft 6in) with wardrobe.Bedroom Two* with one single bed plus an extra 'pull-out' truckle bed, available at an extra cost with wardrobeFamily Bathroom, lovely room overlooking the garden, bath, separate shower, WC and washbasin.OutsideTo the front of the cottage is a pretty cottage garden, while to the rear is a large enclosed garden with table and chairs. There is ample off street parking.*The extra beds are available at a charge of £40 each per week or per weekend.
