Tara Cottage is at the town centre end of Seckford Street with the Market Hill about 50 yards away where there is The Kings Head pub, various dress and antique shops and an internet cafe. Woodbridge is a historic town of great character situated on the River Deben. Its charm lies in the many narrow picturesque streets of fine houses and cottages, the river, a popular marina, the busy boatyards, the famous Tide Mill, the ancient buildings around the Market Hill and the fine Church. Woodbridge has an interesting shopping centre, with many specialist shops, good restaurants and pubs, together with art galleries, antique shops, town museum, Suffolk Horse museum, an excellent cinema/theatre, large recreation areas and an indoor heated swimming pool. Tara Cottage is a recently renovated listed cottage at the town centre end of Seckford Street with the Market Hill about 50 yards away where there is The Kings Head pub, various dress and antique shops and an internet cafe. The Seckford Arms pub is about 60 yards away in the opposite direction and overlooks Fen Meadow - there is a footpath through Fen Meadow which eventually takes you to another part of the river, passing The Cherry Tree pub if you get thirsty on the way!
