The Old Reading Room is a delightful and intimate country retreat set in the heart of this lovelyand peaceful village. The cottage has been lovingly restored to a very high specification from what was originally the old school room where local children would have practised their reading and music. It provides spacious, contemporary and welcoming accommodation set across two floors with many traditional features evident, including Cotswold stone walls, open log burning fire and beams. Externally the property has its own seating area plus access to a delightful country cottage garden. The cottage is situated in the heart of Bledington, a classic Cotswold village with quintessential village green, delightful stream with ducks, plus the renowned Kings Head pub. In our opinion this is a stunning English Country Cottage that is certain to delight.ACCOMMODATION Entrance through to Kitchen / Dining RoomKitchen, superbly equipped with granite-style breakfast bar with leather breakfast stools, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and fridge and freezer. Table and chairs.Sitting Room with open fire (initial supply of logs and kindling provided), large sofa and built in cupboard housing a TV with DVD. This room also has an entrance door. A good supply of books and games are available.Stairs leading to First Floor Galleried Bedroom with 4' 6"double bed and view towards the garden, plus Ensuite Shower Room with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Outside Patio with table and chairs and small BBQ. Parking for one guest car.Friday changeover preferred, please enquire otherwise. Please No Pets. Sorry, this property is not suitable for children or babies. Off street parking. Please note that the owner lives 'next door' in the delightful Thatched Cottage.Please note: the owner requires a damages deposit of £75 a week in advance of arrival. Gas and electricity included.
