Nestling in the attractive rural village of Sleights, just four miles south west of Whitby, is this beautiful, traditional, spacious cottage with large gardens and paddock. It is an ideal base for large families or two families sharing to discover and enjoy this beautiful area of Moors and Coast. The Esk Valley, which is right on your doorstep boasts some of the most stunning and varied scenery, which can be appreciated on the North Yorkshire Moors steam train, which picks up just half a mile from the property and will take you to the market town of Pickering, stopping off at Grosmont and Goathland (also known as Heartbeat country). The historic fishing town of Whitby, famous for Dracula, with its cobbled streets, stunning Abbey and Museum is well worth a visit, where you can take a boat trip down the harbour or walk along the three miles of golden sandy beach that stretches to the beautiful resort of Sandsend. There are plenty of stunning coastal villages to visit including Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay and Staithes, all within easy reach.
