Bodnant Garden, the world famous garden owned by the National Trust, is central to the Estate and within one to two miles' walking distance from the properties. A perfect outdoor break, the Bodnant Estate is privately owned and guests are welcome to walk on the many miles of private paths that run through woods and across farmland. Bodnant Garden is open 361 days of the year.
There are many attractions and places to visit in this part of Wales. Within a 20-minute drive is the elegant Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno. Also the sandy beaches of Conwy, Penmaenmawr and Colwyn Bay are within about a 15-minute drive. Snowdonia National Park is on the doorstep, including the Swallow Falls near Betws-y-Coed and Snowdon. The summit of Snowdon can be reached via the mountain train from Llanberis. A number of castles including Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Harlech, Dolwydellan, Denbigh and Rhuddlan are within easy striking distance.
