Accommodation overview: These cottages, one a Victorian double fronted detached house and the other the converted stables sit in the very heart of Windermere are tucked away behind the main thoroughfare and accessed by a narrow lane opening out into a small courtyard. Nowadays, the horse and carriages have been exchanged for holidaymakers and the ancient buildings have been successfully converted to provide two most interesting cottages with all the desired 21st century facilities that we are so used to but wonderfully married with an Art Nouveau retro theme throughout, perfectly in keeping with the buildings historic past.

Ambleside 82 is a lovely detached lodge on the White Bay Sands park. With three bedrooms, a double with en-suite, a twin and a 2'6" twin, it sleeps six. There is also a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is a veranda with furniture and a hot tub, and off road parking for two cars. Close to Lake Windermere, and with use of the on-site facilities including an indoor heated pool, sauna, children's play area and gym, Ambleside 82 is a great family holiday lodge.

Accommodation overview: Sunnyhill is an 18th century detached cottage in the delightful village of Brigsteer and has all the ingredients for a super holiday within the National Park. Extensive views can be enjoyed from most rooms, (even from the kitchen sink!) out over the Lyth Valley and the Langdales in the distance. There are a large number of traditional country inns serving excellent ales and bar meals only a short drive away. Improved in recent times without any loss of character, Sunnyhill is a lovely home with feature beams throughout and a super wood burning stove to welcome you at the end of the day. Careful thought has been given to provide furnishings and linens to continue the cottage theme throughout and to accommodate the original features of this old house; the floors gently sloping in places and some areas where you should bend or bump.

Accommodation overview: Hazeldene is a beautiful stone built detached cottage of character in the pretty village of Morland, in the Eden Valley. The owners have equipped the property to an extremely high level, with a steam room, full Sky package and broadband internet access. It is situated in the heart of the village within a few yards of the Crown Inn and restaurant, which comes highly recommended and the Morland cafe. Morland lies 8 miles south east of the market town of Penrith, where you will find a wide range of amenities and 8 miles west of Appleby. The location is central to visit the Lake District National Park or walk the more peaceful Pennine Hills and also benefits from easy access to the M6.
