Accommodation overview: STUNNING UNINTERRUPTED VIEWS OVER THE ESTUARY AND TOWARDS THE SEA SLEEPS 4 2 Backing directly onto the estuary where the rivers Taw and Torridge meet this period four bedroom home has been recently refurbished to a high standard and offers excellent views in an ideal location. It is a few yards from the rockpools and one of Appledore s best family pubs and a 5 minute level walk from Appledore s quayside with its fishing boats crabbing lines galleries and restaurants. There is much to do in the area. Across the estuary is the pretty village of Instow with its sand dunes and sailing club. Or 1 mile in the other direction takes you to the sandy beaches of Westward Ho! the salt marshes of Northam Burrows and the site of England s oldest golf course The Royal North Devon. Other attractions which are short trips away include Clovelly Lundy Island The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. Or you could just enjoy the evening views of the estuary from the small enclosed patio area. Seals have been spotted just below the house. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and retains much charm including steep cottage-style stairs.
