Accommodation overview: This superb barn and adjacent detached annexe sit in a secluded spot in the grounds of the owners wonderful oast house. The houses really are off the beaten track - with the private lane meandering through woodland and fields for about a mile. Fabulous views from the patio across the large pond, (fully fenced and gated) with dinghy and tree house for guests use, plus walks across the rolling meadows or through the woodsl . Rye, Camber Sands and the Kent & East Sussex Steam Railway station at Newenden are a short drive away amongst the many places to go and things to do. Shop: 3 miles Pub: 3 miles Coast: 6 miles

Approach to the vineyard is via a mile long lane so not suitable for low suspension vehicles. Methersham Vineyard does produce a range of their own winesold locally. Guests are welcome to stroll through the vines and by prior arrangement a vineyard tour with wine tasting can be organised.
