Heavenly! 200 years old and an old barn it has been converted so as to retain the character and feel. The old owl hole, original beams and loft remain, whilst central heating and the high standard of equipment ensure complete comfort whatever the season. Country walks can begin from your doorstep and the centre of the village with its excellent pub (The New Inn) and village stores are only a five minute stroll. Accommodation overview: Temple Mews (Visit Britain 4 stars) is an absolutely delightful holiday home converted from an old Cotswolds farm building. It is situated in the lovely and traditional Cotswolds' village of Broadwell, itself just 2 miles from the popular market towns of Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh. Internally, the property has been beautifully converted to provide a very high standard of self catering accommodation for up to four people, with much thought given to the provision of modern features to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The accommodation is located on the first floor of the building (via 10 steps). Externally, it enjoys a very peaceful location, tucked down a quiet and private driveway and overlooks, and use of, an enclosed garden to the rear. A short walk away is the well established Fox Inn, serving food and local ales. In our opinion Temple Mews provides a wonderful country retreat in complete peace and yet within a short distance of two of the Cotswolds most delightful market towns. Accommodation overview: Grist Mill is an early 18th Century watermill hidden at the bottom of the Owlpen valley, deep in the Southern edge of The Cotswolds. It is a 'listed' historic building, completely restored to provide wonderfully unique holiday cottage accommodation. Contemporary in comfort and style, the whole building is like a time warp, with unrivalled character and charm. There are many period features within the property, including beams and period furniture. Outside are the gigantic mill wheel and millpond - a haven for wild life.
