Accommodation overview: Reevey Garden Cottage, Visit Britain Four Star Award, is a truly delightful holiday cottage situated in the small village of Kempsford, itself approx 5 miles from Lechlade on Thames. The countryside here is known as the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with many attractive villages nearby, some with gorgeous local pubs and excellent walks. Reevey is a spacious holiday house attached to the owners stunning home, yet set enjoying its own sizeable grounds, incl private parking. All rooms within the cottage are large and welcoming - an ideal choice for families or small groups alike. There are many period features throughout giving the cottage a truly traditional feel, whilst offering all modern conveniences! We particularly like the location and setting of this cottage - along with the Tennis Court and superb vegetable patch! Part of this includes a delightful cottage garden and a large vegetable plot, which leads to the tennis court. This is available for guests to use (by arrangement with the owners) during your stay. Built in Victorian times our twelve cottages have won many awards including 5 star recognition and the English Tourist Boards Excellence Award. The properties were converted by Mrs. Judy Astor, our proprietor, back in 1992 and have been developed and refurbished over time to reflect our guests' wants and needs.
You should feel that your cottage is your 'home from home' in the Cotswolds and that everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided, from ready chopped and stacked logs for the open fire to high quality crockery and cutlery, from antique furniture to state of the art sound and vision. We seek out the fluffiest of towels and the highest thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen; we welcome you with a basket of local goodies and a bottle of champagne; we relish in all the little personal touches that make a great stay a brilliant one.
Bruern is a small hamlet surrounded by open country and has that special feel of a place 'lost in time'. Yet it is a short drive or train ride from cities and towns like Cheltenham, Oxford, Cirencester and Bath.

The property enjoys a quiet, decked area overlooking a stream ideal for 'al fresco' dining, along with comfortable internal accommodation. In our opinion, this is a perfect location for those who wish to either have an active, sporting holiday or simply relax in peaceful surroundings. With an abundance of wildlife and walks around the glorious lakes surrounding the Mill Village this is likely to also appeal to the avid 'twitcher'! We think it is great.The outdoor facilities include an outdoor heated pool, a tennis court and a children's play area all of which are within a three minute walk. The organic farm shop can also be found close to hand providing day to day essentials. Please note: there is no Artspa access with this property. Situated in a prime location overlooking Somerford Lagoon, one of the Cotswold lakes, this cosy cottage is absolutely ideal for a family or small group of friends looking to enjoy the peace of this region of the Cotswolds and yet also interested in visiting many of the area's popular attractions. The area is one of the UK's largest Wildlife Reserves still in private hands and offers an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. The Yurt is a very special holiday home, set in a peaceful location by the owner's fishing lake near the village of Beckford, in the Gloucestershire countryside. This unique property is all open plan, with a double bed, roll-top bath with shower attachment, kitchen area, dining area with lake views and a sitting area with gas fire. The WC is in a separate structure just outside the yurt. There is a hand-built veranda, ideal for relaxing, and guests also have use of the owners' field, hot tub and outdoor swimming pool should they wish. There is off road parking for one car, though please note in bad weather, driving along the track across the field to The Yurt may not be possible. Ideal for recharging the batteries in a unique and characterful setting, The Yurt is perfectly placed for enjoying Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, including Cheltenham, Broadway and Evesham.

The property, which is semi detached, is a traditionally styled Cotswold Stone cottage which sits on the edge of the development, overlooks a little River Thames stream, while a short walk across the lane in front of the cottage, takes you to the lake, where you can sit and enjoy the view across the lake. There are many activities on offer including an outdoor heated swimming pool and tennis court. Situated within the Cotswolds' 450 acre Lower Mill Estate nature reserve and just a two minute stroll from the River Thames tributary, the property offers accommodation ideal for families with youngsters but also perfect for couples looking to relax. Internally, the cottage is welcoming and well furnished with your own grassed area outside, perfect for sitting / playing with small and shallow stream and lake beyond. The Lower Mill is particularly appealing as there are many activities on offer including an outdoor heated swimming pool, tennis court and walking as well as countless other activities nearby. In our opinion Kingfishers House is perfect for those who like space, peace and much to do to do outside the traditional holiday times. Superb!
