With two king size double bedrooms (one with ensuite facilities), one twin bedroom, an additional sofa bed in the lounge and a family shower room, this cottage can sleep up to eight people. The cottage also boasts a galley style fitted kitchen, a dining room with doors to a courtyard and two sitting rooms - one with a sofabed and the other with a woodburning stove. To the exterior of the cottage is a large lawned garden with a courtyard, decked areas, outdoor furniture, and a summer house with games and a tree house, as well as covered bike storage and off road parking for three cars. With a cottage as delightful as Little Thatch, you may never want to leave the grounds, but if you do venture further afield, the whole of the Isle of Wight is ready for you to explore.

With superb views over Newtown Creek and the Solent in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Myrtle Cottage is a beautifully presented and refurbished cottage, standing as one of a pair with its own enclosed garden.
Newtown was established in the 13th century as a centre of trade and shipping, and the capital of the Isle of Wight, and subsequently become a 'rotten borough'. Its medieval town hall is of archaeological importance. There is lots to do around this wonderful part of the Isle of Wight. Yarmouth is a lovely historic sailing town, with a square with pubs and restaurants serving great food.
There are many scenic walks around the Newtown Creek, which has a bird hide to observe the area's wildfowl and other wildlife.
There are many bays, coves, beaches and picturesque villages with tearooms as well as tourist attractions including The Needles Park (with chairlifts, boat rides, coloured sands, lighthouse, amusements and glassmaking). Also within easy driving distance are Chesil Pottery, Calbourne Water Mill, Tennyson Down with its spectacular views, Carisbrooke Castle, Osborne House and Cowes Harbour. The nearest sandy beach is a 10-15 minute drive from the cottage and the nearest pub is the New Inn at Shalfleet, about 1.5 miles away (known to be one of the best pubs on the island).

Situated in the peaceful village of Niton, ten miles from the seaside town of Ventnor, this property, dating back to the mid 1800s, enjoys spectacular views over the island's southern coastline at St Catherine's Point. West Winnowing enjoys spectacular sea views.
Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with coastal and cliff-top walks, horse riding, cycling, pottery painting, surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing and bird watching are available in the area. St Catherine's Lighthouse can be seen from the decked area.
The house is within easy walking distance of a real ale pub, the Buddle Inn which dates back to the 17th century, serves food and welcomes families.
The village of Niton, a five to ten minute walk, has a chemist, post office/tea room, church, additional pub and a small well stocked grocery store. The village of Niton has historical links with Guglielmo Marconi who used the local Knowles Farm as a location for radio experiments when he was living on the Isle of Wight in the late 1890s and early 1900s.
The rocky coastline is only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the cottage but there are plenty of pebble or sandy beaches within easy driving distance. There are more than 20 beaches around the island including several which are award winning.
Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Osborne House, Amazon World and Carisbrooke Castle are some of the island's most popular attractions.
Approximate travelling times - 1.5 to two hours from London to Lymington Ferry Port or Portsmouth Ferry Port - 30 minute ferry crossing, 30 minute drive from Yarmouth or 35 minutes form Fishbourne to Niton village.

Cliff Cottage is the original brick cottage of Gurnard village and is situated 60 metres from the water's edge, the beach and the island's coastal path, with an easy 2k walk along the sea front to the world famous sailing town of Cowes.
The cottage is in classic early 19th century style, detached and double fronted with a delightful kitchen garden and two additional 'secret' gardens, a summerhouse, sun terrace with outside eating patio and barbecue. The cottage has recently been fully refurbished to a high standard with all new fixtures and furniture.
Gurnard village is a very desirable location on the island and home to the island's best pub, the Woodvale, as well as the Watersedge Cafe and a dinghy sailing club. It is only a short walk to the playground, local shop, cash point, newsagent and the Little Gloster restaurant. Cowes is home to many individually styled shops, a fishmonger, butcher, artisan bakery and wine shop. In all, everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway.
The Isle of Wight is easily accessible from the mainland from various points including Lymington, Southampton and Portsmouth.
The island has everything from beautiful hills and downs to walk or cycle, coastal paths to explore, every type of watersport possible, bike and horse trails, woodland and forests and of course beautiful beaches and bays around its Jurassic Coast.
For the grown-ups, the island boasts award-winning vineyards, a cider barn, a lavender farm, crab shacks plus the famous Garlic Farm and Minghella's ice cream!
