Runham has the benefit of being in a lovely country location and yet is only four miles from the wide sandy beach at Caister. Also close by is the popular resort of Great Yarmouth which, as well as the beach, has two piers, a sports centre, amusements, shops, pubs and a pleasure beach where (if you are feeling brave) you can enjoy a ride on the roller coaster! The neighbouring village of Stokesby, two and a half miles away, has a shop, pub and a restaurant. Owl Barn is located near to the owners' home in a peaceful position and enjoys use of the very attractive gardens. Its peaceful setting makes it an ideal location for a relaxing holiday, and you may enjoy watching the birds, including barn owls, on their visits to the garden. Thursford is located midway between the towns of Fakenham and Holt and only six miles from Wells-next-the-Sea. It is an excellent location for a holiday, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the peace and quiet of a rural setting but also providing easy access to the many attractions in the area. The village is best known for the Thursford Collection, but is also home to Thursford Wood, a medieval wood pasture containing some of the oldest trees in the country.
