Accommodation overview: The Stables at Edgerly Farm is a very sweet and cosy holiday property set in an extremely peaceful location within the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The farm is located at the end of a long drive and is the set of buildings for miles, with only fields surrounding. The property has been converted from part of the stables and provides very comfortable accommodation for two people. The accommodation, which is upstairs, is mainly open plan with a separate bedroom/ensuite and has all the modern facilities to make your self cateing holiday a very relaxing one. Our visit was only interrupted by the sound of tweeting birds, swallows and the odd horse, so a rural retreat this most certainly is. Superb value and perfect for getting away from life's 'hustle and bustle. Village pub in Clanfield is approx 1mile level walk.ACCOMMODATION. (Entrance is up approx 11 steps)Entrance through to open living space with lovely views across the farm and countryside. Kitchen equipped with two ring hob, combi microwave / oven / grill, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine facilities are available also. Accommodation overview: Footstool Cottage is a pleasant yet classic Cotswold stone property with early 17th Century origins. The internal features include exposed timbers throughout, together with a woodburner in the dining room. All the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with some low ceilings!! There is a charming and secluded garden at the rear of the cottage, a perfect 'sun trap' for summer days! Footstool Cottage is a cosy retreat situated in the village of Fulbrook which lies about half a mile to the north east of the bustling market town of Burford. The village is surrounded by open Cotswold countryside and there is a good pub within easy walking distance. There is a public footpath from the cottage into Burford. Accommodation overview: Pear Tree Cottage is a spacious Cotswold holiday cottage, located near to the heart of the market town Stow on the Wold. Internally the cottage is presented to a high standard with attention given to the 'living area' and the bedrooms/bathrooms in particular. The accommodation is spread across three floors with the ground floor especially appealing with all rooms leading into each other creating a real sense of space. The bedrooms, with three bathrooms, are all a good size, while the top floor 'suite' offers extra space and views towards the Cotswold Hills. The cottage is just one minute from the Market Square with its antique shops, cafes and traditional pubs! Even though it is in the centre of Stow, the cottage has off street parking for up to three cars. A great cottage in a great location, we hope you will agree... Accommodation overview: Tew Cottage is probably what we all imagine when thinking of a classic Cotswold cottage - a gorgeous building under a thatched roof with period features everywhere: large open fire, beams, flagstone floor and a magnificent 2 acre garden all within a short stroll of a (world renowned) village and pub. It doesn't get much better than this. The cottage, which dates back over 250 years, and is owned by one of the world's leading photographers is presented in a traditional and period style that sits perfectly in this location. There is an open plan living space, very much the heart of the home, with accommodation split across three floors. It is, in our opinion, just as suitable for families as it is for a groups of friends who want to sample one of England's finest locations. Outside there is a large rolling garden with swings and two lakes (which the owners regularly swim in!!) plus a separate thatched building used as playroom. Direct from the cottage there is also a private seating area which is a perfect sun trap.
