The cottage, set within a beautiful pocket of the Cotswolds, has spacious, welcoming accommodation. Internally, the property offers high quality, characterful features including high ceilings and exposed walls to make the cottage unique. Outside there is a secluded sitting area. Locally, there is The Wychwood Golf Club, which has a Freehouse serving good food all day to both players and non-players.(*below.) Accommodation overview: The Haven is a super single storey holiday cottage which has undergone renovation to create a welcoming property suitable for families wishing to enjoy a relaxing break. Originally part of a 14th Century farm, the cottage, which is semi detached, is light and spacious with far reaching views across the Cotswold countryside. Set within the conservation village of Shipton under Wychwood, there are great walks and country pubs, such as The Lamb close by. The property retains original beams and stone walls, and now has beech floors throughout along with mod cons such as a power shower, dishwasher and TV. The property, which has been within the same family for generations, has been carefully renovated with a real attention to detail and a delightful art deco 'twist' maikng it unique and very appealing. Many of the original features such as the wooden floors have been beautifully retained. The accommodation, which is detached and across two floors is both spacious and cosy at the same time and overlooks the garden in all directions. Outside is a large garden with ample off street parking.
