Accommodation overview: The Coach House is a spacious, 'loft-like' property situated close to the heart of Bath city centre. The open plan ground floor is spacious with the kitchen overlooking the living space. Upstairs the bedrooms are spacious too, practical, well equipped and furnished for a short or long stay. The owners have made the most of the building and presented it in an 'industrial cool meets Bath charm' style that appealed to us when we inspected the property. This is an unusual property, and we think you'll love it when you stay. The property is located about 15 mins level walk to the centre of Bath (& also v. close to where Bath Rugby Club train!) and on the very edge of a small housing development. Accommodation overview: CHALET STYLE ACCOMMODATION IN LARGE GROUNDS WITH A PLEASANT SCENIC WALK TO BEACH This detached chalet-style bungalow fully refurbished and upgraded with a modern influence provides an extremely comfortable holiday retreat and is situated in landscaped grounds generously spaced on a hillside with a no through road. 5 minutes walk takes you to Blue Anchor Bay an ideal spot full of wildlife large 2 mile beach promenade 2 pubs with restaurants and lovely gardens a hotel cafés large indoor heated swimming pool and historic steam railway station all of which are open all year round. A shop with newsagent and off-licence is seasonal. Excellent for walkers and dog owners with coastal and countryside walks from the property and the Quantock Hills and Brendon Hills being within a short drive. Exmoor National Park is 2 miles away and is the second designated International Dark Sky Reserve in the world. Dunster a picturesque medieval village with its magnificent castle tea rooms pubs and restaurants and extensive wild wooded estate for biking walking and exploring is 10 minutes drive. Visit during the first weekend of December and enjoy the renowned Dunster by Candlelight event which is great fun with its street entertainers carol singers and olde worlde atmosphere. Also a short drive away is the sandy Dunster beach (near Dunster Steam Railway station) which has a pleasant lawn area and good facilities including excellent refreshments shop and cafe. With so much to see and do in the immediate vicinity you may not need to use the car however the many attractions of the wider area ensure that there is plenty for everyone. Alternatively relax on the decking or garden both enjoy sunshine all day and into the evening ideal for sunbathing alfresco dining and watching the sunset. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 large double with TV/DVD en-suite shower room and WC dressing room and french doors onto the decked area. 1 small double with TV/DVD and 1 single. Situated close to the Quantock Hills a walkers paradise with routes to suit all levels of ability including The Coleridge Way and excellent for watching wildlife. The Championship Links Golf Course at Burnham-on-Sea and Enmore Park Golf Course another Championship course is just 2 miles away and set in a beautiful location on the Quantock Hills. Exmoor popular with walkers and sightseers and famous for its wild ponies red deer and spectacular scenery is a short drive. Lynmouth where Exmoor meets the sea with its water powered cliff railway to Lynton makes a great day out.
