The property is neighboured by the historic English Heritage Site of Cleeve Abbey. Guests can enjoy the picturesque village of Dunster 4 miles away with the castle and numerous galleries and cafés to explore. The beaches at Dunster Blue Anchor and Minehead are all within a few miles with Minehead offering a choice of shops and Somerset World. Set within the Exmoor National Park famous for some of the most breathtaking scenery and a haven for walkers and wildlife. Other attractions well worth a visit include the Valley of the Rocks West Somerset Steam Railway Lynton and Lynmouth with their water powered cliff railway Clarks Village the Brendon and Quantock Hills and much more. After a day s adventure relax in the garden. Alternatively enjoy a game of skittles or a BBQ which is held regularly in the season in the pub garden across the road. The Roundhouse is an unusual wooden roundhouse on an organic farm, near the village of Stratton-on-the-Fosse. There is one spacious room with four poster double bed, two folding beds on request, small kitchen area, dining area and a sitting area, all warmed beautifully by the custom-made woodburner. There is a bathroom en-suite to the main room, with a compost WC in the boot room. Outside is a private patio with furniture and off road parking for two cars. The Roundhouse is ideally placed for enjoying Bath, the Mendips, Glastonbury or Cheddar Gorge, and makes for a wonderful retreat for couples or a small family.
