Outside is off road parking for four cars, and terraced gardens with different areas including a lakeside patio and two 'beach' areas from where boats can be launched or fishing enjoyed. Horton Lodge Boathouse makes an ideal base for Leek, Matlock, Alton Towers, the Peak District National Park and the Staffordshire countryside.

Larklands is a superb 16th Century, stone-built barn conversion on a working cattle farm one mile from the pretty village of Ravensworth on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is all on the ground floor and has three bedrooms (one twin, one double and one family room with a double and a single day bed and ensuite facilities) and a family bathroom making it possible to sleep up to seven people. The cottage also has a large and spacious fitted kitchen with a dining area and a stone arch leading to the sitting room with an electric stove, exposed roof beams and patio doors to the outside courtyard which contains garden furniture. There is also off road parking available for three cars. Larklands is a beautifully renovated holiday cottage in a delightful part of North Yorkshire making this a superb location for a relaxing family holiday.
