The Apple Store at Slingsby Heights is a detached property and dates from the 19th century. It was used to store the apples from the acre of old orchard to the south of the property. It also acted as stables during the First World War for cavalry horses from the barracks in the neighbouring village of Hovingham.
The Apple Store now provides spacious accommodation for up to 4 people with private courtyard and ample parking. Guests have access to the 11 acres of land belonging to Slingsby Heights which include a large kitchen garden, old orchard and croquet lawn.
