This very spacious self catering accommodation is situated in a magnificent position just outside the hamlet of Willington in the Cotswolds, close to the River Stour.

The Farmhouse has gardens including a large enclosed garden on the south side with large lawn.

The nearest pubs are in villages one to two miles away, with a range of shops and pubs/restaurants to be found in Shipston, 1.5 miles away. Other places to visit include Chipping Campden which is 6 miles away and Stratford-upon-Avon which is 11 miles.

Accommodation overview: The Stables is a superb self catering holiday cottage set in a leafy area of Stratford upon Avon called Shottery, an area best known for 'Anne Hathaway's Cottage' which is about 300 yards away. If you would like to enjoy the superb facilities (including the National Theatre) in Stratford then you really could not be more conveniently located, as everything is within walking distance. The property is a 5 star standard and has been beautifully modernised to provide spacious and light accommodation ideal for families or groups alike. Of particular appeal is the huge open plan living space which 'spills' onto the courtyard. Although this is a central location it is private and relatively peaceful and with an off street parking spot you can leave the car and stroll into town too. Furlong Barn is a beautiful property in a stunning, secluded position, enjoying uninterrupted views across Warwickshire farmland from all aspects. This comes with the added advantage of being on the edge of the pretty village of Long Itchington, with its pond and village green, within walking distance. On the green you will find the Buck and Bell pub, with its local beers and good food, or a short car ride will take you to Hilltop Farm on the Fosse Way, where there is a fabulous farm shop and restaurant.

The barn has recently been completely, stylishly, renovated with great attention to detail in every room. The vaulted main bedroom, sitting room and kitchen diner have a wealth of exposed, limed timbers, set off by oak or slate flooring.

The decision to completely relax and enjoy local walks or cycle trails, or travel and explore one of the local towns of Warwick, Stratford on Avon, Rugby or Royal Leamington Spa, is yours. Sailing enthusiasts can enjoy Draycot Water, only a few miles away. You are situated only a mile from the Fosse Way, so a 40 minute drive will see you in Moreton-in-Marsh or Chipping Camden, in the heart of Cotswold country. Alternatively, 30 minutes in the opposite direction will take you to Birmingham, with its NEC and airport.
