Located in one of the Cotswolds' premier villages, Kingham, this absolutely gorgeous cottage has access to some superb facilities including an amazing indoor pool, Turkish bath and tennis court. Kingham roughly equi-distant between Burford and Chipping Norton is a village which has everything you could need, including award winning pubs and a comprehensive local store, there are also excellent walks surrounding it, but perhaps of great appeal to some is the convenience of the Daylesford Organic (described in The Telegraph as 'the UK's poshest shop'!!) All this plus the most amazing, indoor swimming pool and steam room (Turkish Hammam) which are of the highest quality and for guests' use. Located next door to Ryeworth Cottage (Ref: RYE) this cottage has everything you could wish for and is suitable for customers who expect the very best in self catering accommodation. The property is presented to a very high standard (the owners own another property with Manor Cottages which is both a very high standard and also very popular with customers) with up to six bedrooms and four bathrooms available. Internally the property retains many period features along with countless contemporary touches to give this a real high quality, minimalist feel. An element that particularly appealled to us was the large ground floor which has the feeling of being 'open plan' but actually has separate 'rooms'! The five acre property comprises two fields (often with sheep) and a walled garden of approximately half an acre.
The self-catering holiday retreat is a two minute walk from two cosy 17th century pubs with excellent food and roaring log fires. Clanfield is an ideal location for an outdoor break in Oxfordshire with plenty of walks as well as cycling, fishing and boating (the Thames is only two miles away). Burford is eight miles away, Oxford 21 miles and Cirencester 18 miles.
Heathrow Airport can be reached in an hour and 10 minutes and the nearest train stations are Oxford (21 miles) and Didcot (22 miles), Charlbury (16 miles) and Swindon (17 miles).
