Externally the garden is absolutely lovely and yet secure plus there is a covered swimming pool (PLEASE NOTE: the pool is not heated 1st October - Easter). Broadband and payphone available.LocationThe village as you would expect has several good pubs, along with a very good general store and Post Office and serves as a charming base for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Broughton Castle and other Cotswolds delights. The owners have made a special arrangement with the local golf club (five minutes drive away) for subsidised pay and play rates. Riding is also available close by. There is a Pottery adjacent to the cottage, which sells a great variety of tableware, lamps and gifts made by a range of local craftspeople.

Accommodation overview: Little Barn, ETB 4 stars, is a wonderful renovated stone barn which faces South overlooking farm fields. Detached from the main village in a peaceful and secluded valley surrounded by oak trees, Little Barn is a popular holiday cottage which has been converted to a high specification. Exposed beams and solid pine doors and furniture, with flagstone floors downstairs and fitted carpets upstairs create a rich, cosy property with a welcoming ambience. From the cottage, there is a large secure courtyard facing south with large pots of flowers and garden furniture. Ascott is a small peaceful hamlet about half a mile beyond Whichford. ACCOMMODATION: Excellent Kitchen / Dining Room with a high ceiling and exposed beams, fully fitted and equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge (freezer in outhouse), microwave. Hallway to Sitting Room with comfortable sofas and armchairs, TV and DVD Player. Off the hallway is a spacious curtained recess with a sofa bed for two extra people if required.
