Willow View Cottage is a semi detached single storey cottage in the holiday village of Gurnard Pines, near Cowes on the Isle of Wight. The cottage has two bedrooms (one double and one bunk bedroom) and a family bathroom, making it ideal for four people. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting areas. Outside the cottage is off road parking, a small private patio with furniture and use of facilities include an indoor pool, outdoor pool (May - Sept), tennis court, gym, sauna etc. which are available at an additional charge from Gurnard Pines reception. Close by are the beaches at Ryde and Queen Victoria's Italianate summer home at Osborne House making Willow View Cottage an excellent holiday base for all the family.

Accommodation overview: Standing in the wonderful grounds of Romden Castle is this very welcoming converted coach house .The exceptionally quiet location is bliss - add to that the swimming pool, the tennis court and the beautiful large pond - this is the perfect place for a really great holiday. The Castle dates from the 13th Century with many later additions including the tower. Nearby are the "chocolate box" villages of Smarden and Bethersden for local shopping, pubs and it is only 4 miles to Pluckley. The popular town of Tenterden with its interesting shops, eateries and leisure centre is only seven miles and Ashford for fast trains to London/Paris and Brussels is an easy drive away. Four friendly Alpacas live by the lake too - firm favourites with everyone! It is situated mid-way between Cranbrook and Hawkhurst - Cranbrook has some superb specialist shops, pubs and restaurants and Hawkhurst has a great independent cinema, so there is much to enjoy right on your doorstep. The nearby gardens at Sissinghurst and Pashley Manor are well worth a visit and the seaside is an easy drive. Trains for London (1hr) from Staplehurst 8 miles.
