Lyme Regis is a short drive away which offers an unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches and provides a perfect environment in which children can play and adults can relax in the traditional deckchairs that still line the promenade in summer. There are many attractions in the area including the charming resorts of Beer Branscombe and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few.
