The Saints Way path which leaves Padstow and reaches Fowey passes the other side of the Tor where there is small car park. Close by is the National Trust Lanhydrock House with beautiful gardens and cycle tracks which connect to Bodmin and the Camel Trail Cycle Track. The cottages have been converted from a range of old granite farm buildings dating back to the 1860s and many original features have been retained. There are several cycle hire businesses in the area. In the immediate area Bodmin is 1 mile away and offers a variety of shops pubs restaurants leisure facilities and attractions. The historic houses of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock with their beautiful gardens are close by and the Eden Project is 11 miles away. A short drive will take you to either the rugged grandeur of the North coast or the gentler but equally beautiful South coast both with their great beaches and charming harbours or Bodmin Moor with its dramatic scenery.
