Accommodation overview: Windrush House is one of our most popular holiday cottages and for good reason. The house is absolutely perfectly located within one of the Cotswolds' most famous and most popular locations - Bourton on the Water. Internally the house is a good size with well proportioned rooms. Externally it is idyllically situated, next to the stream and one of the bridges in the village, off a very quiet square in the heart of Bourton. There is a good sized garden, which is enclosed, and which offers off street parking - a rare commodity in this village! Once the old village school, Windrush is a perfect holiday home for families looking to enjoy one of the Cotswolds most desirable holiday destinations. In our opinion, Windrush is a classic cottage which sits in a very desirable location making it good value for family get-togethers or a party of friends. Moore Cottage is situated in a quiet position next to Moore House, just a two minute walk from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water which stands on the river Windrush. Holidaymakers will have a very good choice of restaurants, pubs and shops, all within walking distance. There is also the Model Village, Motor Museum, Bird Sanctuary and Perfumery to visit. For the serious walkers there is a wide variety of choice in all directions through Upper Slaughter, Lower Slaughter, Upper Rissington and Lower Rissington.

Burford (the Gateway to the Cotswolds); Cirencester (most attractive market town since Roman times); Cheltenham (the Spa town with beautiful architecture and a racing history); Stratford-upon-Avon (the birth place of William Shakespeare); Chipping Norton and Chipping Campden (both Mediaeval market towns); and Broadway (a truly historic town with lovely shops and of course the Lygon Arms) are all within 15 miles. Please note that guest privacy will be respected at all times.

The farm itself comprises a mixture of grassland, woodland and flax all of which are tended in an environmentally friendly manner. The cottage, which is set on one level except for one entrance step, offers lovely views towards local villages and surrounding hills, along with an abundance of wildlife! Tagmoor Hollow is a spacious self-contained home set within a wing of the main farmhouse. The interior is very comfortable and furnished to a high standard with a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture. Accommodation overview: Wadham Cottage is a fine and charming Cotswold holiday cottage set very convenient for the the centre of this very popular village. The property is located within a traditional terrace of old worker cottages, which were originally called the 'Church Cottages'. Today the property, as you would expect with such history, including a strong association with Wadham College, Oxford, has many Cotswolds features including the classic beams that make the rooms so cosy. The cottage was updated in recent years and provides very comfortable accommodation for two or possibly four with a second bedroom on the top floor*. Of particular appeal is the fact that the attractions of Bourton on the Water are approximately 2 minutes walk away! ACCOMMODATIONEntrance to the property is through to kitchen. Although there is a 'front' door, entry to and from the cottage is better through the 'back' door.Kitchen, well equipped, with gas hob and gas oven/grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment plus a traditional Welsh dresser. Walking in the area is superb with many footpaths passing through attractive villages and along the rivers and streams; quarry lakes with lots of wildlife. The village boasts the well known Motor Museum (home of Brum), the Model Village, Birdland and Model Railway Exhibition. A superb location in all respects. (There are local buses running to Cheltenham, Stow on the Wold and Cirencester just 200 yards for the cottage. Needless to say many pretty villages such as Bibury, Lower Slaughter, Upper Slaughter, Blockley are all nearby. Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham are all nearby.

A truly traditional holiday cottage complete with its beautiful walled garden, located well off the road and with private parking. The property has the feeling of a home rather than a holiday home thanks to the care and attention of the owner who lovingly cares for the garden and house between guests. West Cottage is furnished and decorated in a period style throughout as well as having a log fire in one of the reception rooms! The Cottage is well equipped and is, in our opinion, a classic country cottage for families or small groups hoping to sample a Cotswold experience. We would like to bring to your attention that the cottage does have small rooms and that the stairs are quite steep. These are traditional features but should be taken into consideration.
