Accommodation overview: TRADITONAL STONE BUILT COTTAGE IDEAL FOR TOURING THE COTSWOLDS REGRET NO BABIES OR CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS The property is peacefully tucked within a wooded hollow with a mill stream opposite at the end of a terrace. Dating back 200 years with a wealth of character including exposed brick work stone mullion windows and cottage gardens. The cottage is beautifully finished creating the perfect retreat. A 10 minute stroll from the property the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe is situated in a beautiful Cotswold valley mid-way between Broadway and Cheltenham. With a wealth of historical interest on your doorstep the cottage is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists with easy access to the Cotswold Way. There is racing at Stratford on Avon and Cheltenham which also hosts the Literature Festival. Visit the traditional Cotswold town of Broadway with its wide street lined with a delightful mix of Tudor Stuart and Georgian buildings. The Vale of Evesham home to the Blossom Festival in the springtime which is simply stunning and the Plum Festival in the autumn is a must. The accommodation offers TWO double bedrooms. Bathroom: whirlpool bath with shower over and WC. Lounge: with TV/DVD CD player and open fire (first basket of logs provided). Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with electric oven gas hob fridge/freezer dishwasher and microwave. Utility room: with washer/dryer. Accommodation overview: STUNNING DETACHED FARMHOUSE IN DELIGHTFUL RURAL LOCATION This beautiful house has been lovingly developed and owned by the same family for a number of generations. With easy access to the M5 it is ideally situated for exploring all of the picture perfect Cotswolds while the immediate area provides some great walking and cycling opportunities. A host of attractions within a short drive include Tewkesbury Abbey and Ragley Hall Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway Birdland Model Village Sudeley Castle the Motor Heritage Museum the National Waterways Museum and numerous National Trust properties. Cheltenham Shakespeare s Stratford-on-Avon Warwick and Cirencester are also within easy reach along with a plethora of chocolate box pretty villages including Burford Stow-on-the-Wold the Slaughters and Kingham. Slightly further afield but worth a visit is Oxford with is stunning architecture and fabulous museums beautiful Blenheim Place The Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Forest of Dean. The accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms all arranged on the first floor: 1 master king-size 1 double 2 twin rooms and 1 single room. Bathroom: with separate shower and WC. Shower-room: with WC. Additional WC: located on the first floor. Lounge: spacious area with woodburner and flatscreen TV/DVD. Study/reading room: accessed via the lounge and offering space to unwind with a good book. Snug/lounge: additional living space with woodburner and flatscreen TV/DVD. Dining room: lovely room for families wishing to dine together. Kitchen: modern fitted galley style with electric oven and hob fridge dishwasher and access to both the dining room and lounge. Fridge/freezer: located in larder cupboard in the dining room.
