Wimbleball Reservoir offering wind surfing and fishing is 2 miles distant, with trout fishing also available within 5 minutes walk. Dunster, with its fine castle and reputation as being the "prettiest village on Exmoor", is just a 20 minute scenic drive, whilst the coastal town of Minehead, and further beaches at Blue Anchor Bay and the famously picturesque Weir at Porlock are also easily accessible.
