Accommodation overview: This very attractive old granary has been converted into a very high standard holiday home in the grounds of the owners ancient farmhouse. The whole ground floor is one cleverly designed open plan living space which the whole family will enjoy. The Cinque Port of Hythe with its wide promenade and long beach is only a few miles away, the children will love Port Lympne Wild Animal Park and shopaholics will be in heaven at the nearby Mcarthurglen designer outlet! For the energetic there is a tennis court next to the granary which the owners are happy for guests to use. The granary is also in a very convenient location with great transport links - Ashford International station is only five miles for fast trains to London and Paris plus the ferry ports of Folkestone and Dover are an easy drive. Accommodation overview: This lovely cottage is set close to the Kent village of Smeeth and sleeps four people.
The Byre is a detached, converted farm building set within 80 acres of land, one mile from the village of Smeeth in Kent. This cottage sleeps four people and has one king-size double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed. Outside there is an enclosed, lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue, along with shared use of the owners' swimming pool, fields, woods and fishing lake. The cottage also offers many facilities for guests to enjoy by prior arrangement with the owner. With Leeds Castle and channel crossings to France close by makes The Byre an ideal romantic base for exploring Kent and beyond.
