Close to the Tamar Valley which in 2006 was designated as part of a World Heritage Site with its mining history portrayed at the living museum of Morwellham Quay travel through the valley by boat or train. Within easy reach of Dartmoor for horse riding walking the hobby of letter boxing rugged scenery and quiet valleys. Other attractions include 3 gardens that have been featured on TV within 8 miles. Further afield why not visit The Eden Project a variety of National Trust gardens or the golf course at St Mellion which is 1.5 miles. Bude and Widemouth beaches on the North Cornish coast are a 40 minute drive or visit Polperro & Looe on the South coast all providing a lovely day out.
