Swallows Barn is situated at Seat Farm, Howtown 400 yards from the northern shore of Ullswater, beneath Barton Fell and High Street. You can catch the Ullswater Steamer nearby, with various drop off points around the lake. For that special occasion you can dine at the renowned Sharrow Bay Hotel, which is only 5 minutes walk. The Ullswater Yacht Club is directly opposite, weekly membership can be purchased if you wish to bring a boat, please contact direct- , it also has a private bar. The owners have furnished and equipped them to a high standard to provide superior self catering accommodation. Greenah Crag is situated close to Troutbeck, between Keswick and Penrith in a lovely rural location, yet only 10 minute drive from the M6.
