Accommodation overview: This charming little cottage set in a row of 200 year old listed cottages, is situated in Veryan Green, close to the famous thatched round houses, in a sheltered valley surrounded by lush trees and gardens only half a mile from the village centre.
Entered through a pretty walled and gated small garden, the front door opens to a delightfully furnished, warm and cosy beamed sitting/dining room with a neat galley kitchen leading off it. A compact shower room W.C. with hand basin completes the ground floor accommodation.
From the living room an open plan staircase leads to a lovely cottage style bedroom with twin beds. There are restful views over rolling pasture land from an enclosed sun trap patio garden, and there is unrestricted parking on the road outside.
Veryan has a good pub offering food and a small shop/post office, Nare Head to the south is a fine place for walking with Gull Rock just offshore a notable seabird colony. The south facing beaches of Carne and Pendower are just over a mile.

Riverside Cottage is a detached, beautifully renovated period thatched property with a private garden in the heart of one of the most attractive villages on the Roseland Peninsula. Veryan is famous for its thatched round houses and beautiful water garden which is opposite the holiday cottage.
There are excellent sandy beaches 1.5 miles away at Carne and Pendower. There is a village pub and a shop within walking distance. The pretty sailing village of St Mawes is 8 miles away. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Tate at St. Ives are within a 45-minute drive.
