Situated in a quiet location next to the River Greta in Keswick, the cottage is a 15 minute level walk from the town centre and has the benefit of walks directly from the doorstep, to Latrigg, Skiddaw and Blencathra. The cottage is very well equipped including a full Sky TV package and all modern appliances. Accommodation overview: Appletree is a spacious Lakeland cottage in a courtyard of similar cottages, with the living accommodation on the first floor and bedrooms on the ground floor. The new owner (2010) has improved the property and has plans for further improvements. It is located in a very convenient position on the edge of Keswick, a pleasant 10 minute stroll through the park takes you to the town centre, 400 yards from the start of the walk up Latrigg and Skiddaw and easy access from the A66. The Pheasant Inn is directly across the road, serving real ale and home cooked food.

Accommodation overview: Uncles Cottage is an ideal base for guests arriving on public transport, it is situated 200 yards from the bus stop in Keswick town centre. Shops, pubs and restaurants are literally on the doorstep and there are dozens of lovely walks directly from the town. The owners completely renovated and refurbished the cottage when they took possession from his Uncle in 2010 (no prizes for guessing where the name came from). They have created a pleasant open plan living area on the ground floor, complete with new kitchen. The first floor has been redesigned to improve the bedroom space, a new bathroom was fitted and the ceilings were raised to expose the roof beams.
