Just 15 minutes' walk from the beach and village at Charmouth this family run park on the Jurassic coast has been awarded the David Bellamy Silver Award for Conservation and offers you the ideal base for your Dorset holiday. Set on a hillside between Bridport and Lyme Regis this is Thomas Hardy country with rolling hills thatched cottages and a rugged coastline.

"Such a great Holiday. We had a fantastic view across to Lyme Regis and could see all around Charmouth. The Dog excersize area was great too with more great views. The swimming pool was lovely and clean. The same goes for the Jaccuzzi. Staff were pleasant and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome by the campsite and also the locals in the village. A great place to stay. Would love to visit again one day. "

The indoor pool is a lovely temperature and although we no longer have small children the childrens enjoyment of their disco evening was a delight. The on site shop was very friendly the prices were very reasonable and the fresh french bread and croissants were to die for - well at least to get up early for! "

"When I arrived at Newlands Holiday Park it was not what I expected at all. The caravan was spotless throughout. The dog run area is an absolutely fantastic idea it was wonderful to have somewhere save to exercise my dogs especially as I don't have this luxury at home. The local beach were beautiful and not touristy at all (which I prefer!). There is also a fabulous butchers where you can get your sausage egg and bacon for breakfast in the morning! "

A good choice of accommodation and a friendly peaceful park with wonderful views over surrounding countryside yet within minutes of reaching major roads. Good amenities and facilities and it was great occupying a caravan with heating throughout if one required it. Our holiday overall was excellent value for money and we will certainly return in the near future!"
